El parque nacional Tierra del Fuego es un parque nacional de Argentina situado en la provincia de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur, en el extremo suroeste de la porción argentina de la isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, a unos 12 km al oeste de la ciudad de Ushuaia. Se extiende desde la sierra de Injoo Goiyin (o de Beauvior), al norte del lago Fagnano, hasta la costa del canal Beagle en el sur. Es uno de los pocos parques nacionales argentinos con costas marinas. El parque cuenta con picos en que se alternan con valles donde hay ríos y lagos originados en glaciares. El parque nacional tiene una superficie de 68 909 hectáreas, aunque no se halla mensurado y existen diferencias en sus límites con el ejido de Ushuaia.
Solamente unas 2000 ha de su extremo meridional están abiertas al público. El resto del parque tiene la categoría de «reserva natural estricta».
Protege una porción del extremo austral de la cordillera de los Andes, prístinos bosques fueguinos, lagos glaciarios, y costas marinas con biodiversidad perteneciente a la ecorregión marina: Canales y Fiordos del sur de Chile.
El acceso se realiza desde la ciudad de Ushuaia, a unos 12 km al este del parque, a través de la ruta nacional n.º 3. De hecho esta ruta tiene, en el sector de bahía Lapataia de este parque nacional, el punto final de su recorrido, el cual se inicia en la lejana ciudad de Buenos Aires. A partir de la ruta nacional 3 se originan tres caminos secundarios: al río Pipo o Ajej, a ensenada Zaratiegui y al lago Roca o Acigami.
El medio de transporte más típico para que los visitantes accedan al parque es el denominado «Tren del Fin del Mundo», que sale de la estación del Fin del Mundo, 8 km al oeste de Ushuaia. Se trata de la parte final de la línea que unía el presidio de Ushuaia con los campos de trabajo situados en lo que hoy es el parque.
Tierra del Fuego National Park is a national park of Argentina located in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands, in the extreme southwest of the Argentine portion of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, about 12 km to the west of the city of Ushuaia. It extends from the Injoo Goiyin (or Beauvior) mountain range, to the north of Lake Fagnano, to the coast of the Beagle Channel in the south. It is one of the few Argentine national parks with marine coasts. The park has peaks that alternate with valleys where there are rivers and lakes originating from glaciers. The national park has an area of ??68,909 hectares, although it is not measured and there are differences in its limits with the ejido of Ushuaia.
Only about 2,000 ha of its southern end are open to the public. The rest of the park has the category of "strict nature reserve".
It protects a portion of the southern end of the Andes mountain range, pristine Fuegian forests, glacial lakes, and marine coasts with biodiversity belonging to the marine ecoregion: Channels and Fjords of southern Chile.
Access is from the city of Ushuaia, about 12 km east of the park, through National Route No. 3. In fact, this route ends in the Lapataia Bay sector of this national park. of his journey, which begins in the distant city of Buenos Aires. From National Route 3, three secondary roads originate: to the Pipo or Ajej River, to Zaratiegui Cove and to Roca or Acigami Lake.
The most typical means of transport for visitors to access the park is the so-called "End of the World Train", which leaves from the End of the World station, 8 km west of Ushuaia. This is the final part of the line that linked the prison of Ushuaia with the labor camps located in what is now the park.
