Lych gate at St Michael & All Angels' church, Taddington, erected in memory of the fallen in WWI.
The lych-gate, a World War I memorial, opens onto a long path to the church. It is constructed of stone and wood, with a half-height stone wall and four stone corner pillars supporting an oak superstructure and slate roof. The main outside beam bears a shield bearing the letters SB and the inscription in relief.
The inscription reads -
