Combined WWI and WWII memorial cross at St Michael & All Angels' church, Taddington.

"A Brincliffe Blue Stone monument comprising a cross of on a two-stepped pedestal, plinth and two-stepped base within a walled plot. At the centre of the cross is a pelican in her piety in relief and the four limbs contain interwoven strapwork in relief. At the top of the tapered shaft is a robed figure of St Michael bearing a sword with further interwoven strapwork below. The two-stepped pedestal has battered faces and bevelled top and bears the incised inscription on its faces in upright capital roman lettering coloured black. The plinth has vertical faces and a chamfered top. The two steps have vertical faces, the lower one being of concrete."
