Het kerkgebouw aan de Fluitersstraat dateert uit 1951. In 2013 is de zinken torenspits vervangen. De gereformeerde gemeenschap is bijzonder omdat het één van de vier resterende gemeenten is die zich in 1980-1981 hebben afgescheiden van de Gereformeerde Gemeente in Nederland. De afscheiding staat bekend als de Gereformeerde Geemente in Nederland (buiten verband). Oorspronkelijk waren dit 7 gemeentes, maar drie zijn weer terug toegetreden tot de Gereformeerde Gemeente in Nederland (GGiN). De inmiddels afgetreden predikant A. Wink heeft een grote impact gehad op de gemeenschap.

The church building on the Fluitersstraat dates from 1951. In 2013, the zinc spire was replaced. The Reformed community is special because it is one of the four remaining municipalities that separated from the Reformed Congregation in the Netherlands in 1980-1981. The secession is known as the Gereformeerde Geemente in the Netherlands (out of context). Originally these were 7 municipalities, but three have rejoined the Reformed Church in the Netherlands (GGiN). The now retired pastor A. Wink has had a major impact on the community.
