This bronze plaque references a flagpole that was erected in commemoration of Altoona's Centennial.

The flagpole has been torn down, but the Keystone shaped plaque remains, mounted to a concrete pad. The plaque is located at what used to be a scenic overlook. Along with the flagpole the lookout tower has been razed too.
