This is a place where the hikers, and walkers and bicycle riders can deposit their recyclable trash,.
I have visited over 20 trailheads in the Katy Trail, and this is the first, and only, recycle center located at a trailhead.

The others have waste cans, and dumpsters, etc. But none have a center like this one. This is unique and begs the question why not at the other sites.
