Located along the hiking path/rural roadway between the Fellhorn and Oberstdorf, this cross is just to the west of the pathway just south of the hamlet of Schwand, slightly uphill.
Jesus is on the cross, and this is mounted on a tree trunk that has been stripped of bark, protected from the elements by a small roof and from roving cows by a fence.
