Tower Bridge is the most iconic bridge in London. If you visit the English capital, you will surely cross it more than once. It is certainly also the most ornate, with its Victorian Gothic style.

"It is a drawbridge over the River Thames as it passes through London. It consists of two imposing towers connected at the top by two walkways that were designed to counteract the force of the suspended parts on both sides. Curiosities of Tower Bridge Its construction, which began in 1886 and lasted 8 years, was carried out on two concrete blocks weighing 70,000 tons each. Its arms are hoisted approximately 1,000 times a year and this requires a 24-hour notice period, as river traffic in London currently still has priority over road traffic. It is a very busy bridge, crossed by more than 40,000 people a day, either in motor vehicles (for which there is a speed limit of 32 kilometers per hour) or on foot."
