By contract dated May 18, 1914, the well-known company Eijsbouts from Asten, North Brabant, committed itself to supply and install a timepiece with a loud bell and accessories. Details of the timepiece, with three dials and a brass bell of about 150 kilograms, were in the contract. The price for delivery and installation would be 675 guilders.
In the end the cost of the tower was less than 2600 guilders. A quarter of that 675 guilders was for the clockwork and bell. The construction cost approximately 1,875 guilders.
