Fornæs Lighthouse is a lighthouse located on Jutland's easternmost point, Fornæs, 6 km northeast of Grenaa on Djursland. The lighthouse is at its full height 27 meters, while the flame height is 32 meters above sea level.

The lighthouse was built in 1839 according to drawings by Georg Holgreen with a tower, which was built together with the lighthouse keeper's residence. The tower was equipped with a rotating mirror device. In 1892, the present granite lighthouse was built, fitted with a 2nd-order lens apparatus with a 4-wick burner. In 1902 the lens apparatus was changed to a first-order acetylene gas burner and in 1924 the gas burner was replaced with an English-made incandescent burner.

Fornæs lighthouse was built on a three meter deep concrete foundation with a diameter of 8.8 meters, on a solid limestone layer. On the foundation, a half-meter-high plinth of hewn stones with a sloping edge has been erected, and again on top of this, the 22-meter-high tower is built of coarsely hewn granite stones. The staircase inside the tower consists of 84 finely hewn granite stones, one end of which is cast into the outer wall of the tower. The woodwork in the lighthouse is made of teak. The lantern is built cylindrically of iron with 12 rails, and it has a diameter of 3.7 meters and a window height of 2.8 meters.

In 1976-77, a guard and monitoring center of a total of 365 m² on 2 floors was built next to the lighthouse. From this central they controlled a large number of automated and unmanned lighthouses. Jan 1 In 2000, the monitoring center was closed down and control transferred to Copenhagen. There is a car park by the lighthouse, from which there is public access on the beaches north and south of the lighthouse.

The lighthouse keeper's residence at Fornæs lighthouse has been rented out and used as a holiday home since 2011.
