Y 19 (NN0285) - Butte, NE - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark disk sits in an old slab of concrete on property that used to be the Butte Water tower. This water tower was in place until the new water tower was built on the south side of town in 1999, causing it to be removed in 2000. Fun fact, is that the locals will tell you a firework celebration occurred at the new water tower to welcome in Y2K, but it was a one time occurrence due to a firework exploding on the ground and causing a fire.

The benchmark is still in great condition and can be found quickly! You will find it on the west side of a building in a concrete slab. The building sits in the southwest corner of Walnut and Wilson St.
