On the north side of the grounds of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum is a MIG-21. A detailed marker is next to the parking lot, easily spotted in front of the aircraft. We visited when the museum was closed, but the displays on the grounds were easily accessed.

Text on marker:

Mikoyan-Guerevich MIG-21

The MIG-21 is a Soviet-era Mach 2 Fighter/Interceptor. Approximately 60 countries across four continents have flown the MIG-21, and it still serves many nations six decades after its maiden flight. The MIG-21 is the most-produced Supersonic Jet aircraft in aviation history. This MIG-21 has North Vietnamese Air Force insignia. This MIG-21 was donated to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium by Bob and Mary Ann Pezold. Bob is a former jet carrier pilot in the U.S. Navy who flew during the Vietnam Era and has flown the MIG-21 as a civilian.
