The Manse was constructed of contrasting red and yellow brickwork, the foundation stone being laid on 6 December 1890.The symmetrical facade features an elaborate cast iron verandah
The Baptist manse is an integral part of an important group of buildings which includes the original freestone church of 1853 and the present polychromatic brick Church of 1876.
