The parish cemetery of Kato Garouna is located north of the village where the roads to Ano Garouna and Agios Gordios fork.

Coming from the coast you pass the cemetery about 500 meters before you enter the village Kato Garouna. It is a terraced area of an irregular shape next to a church.
The cemetery contains about 250 graves. Most stones made of light marble and lying on a concrete foundation. The inscriptions only contain the names and dates, but most are accompanied with a photo. Except for a few flowers in vases there are little plants in the area.
The cemetery is supposed to have a sign, but it was lying on the ground when I was there. The signage says: ενοριακο κουμητηριο κατο γαρουνα (parish cemetery of Kato Garouna)
