"Free-standing church with four facades that occupies an entire block, in order to obtain maximum natural lighting. It was designed by the architect Manuel Felipe Quintana and built between 1896-1907, by the contractors Cerviño and Senra. Its style is neo-gothic historicist, however its forms are not slender and diaphanous, as is typical of neo-gothic, but it has a heavy appearance due to its large solid surfaces. The temple has a floor plan with three naves without a transept. The central nave is wider than the lateral ones, from which it is separated by pointed arches. The lateral naves receive light through bays of pointed arches, while the central nave receives light through trefoils or small tracery rosettes, with three lobes inscribed inside that are located high above the nave. The head has a polygonal apse framed in a rectangle in which the sacristies are located. Three large ogival windows illuminate the apse, cutting the wall vertically. At the foot of the church, over the access porch, there is a high choir." ( visit link)
