The Diamond host the Richmond Flying Squirrels (Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants) of the Eastern League and the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) baseball team. Built in 1985, it was originally home of the Richmond Braves 1985 to 2008, who left after years of failed negotiations to have a new stadium built. Seating capacity is 12,134, but the upper decks are covered with advertising so the true capacity is roughly 9,500. Team store is only open online or during games. Links to both teams are below.
