This pair of fenced in basketball courts sits halfway up a hill at Langworthy Field in the Hope Valley section of Hopkinton, Rhode Island.
The hard, multi-court surface was renovated in 2017-2018 and is in very good condition. Green is the dominant background color with red free throw lanes and wide corridors between and on the ends. Basketball court boundary lines are white while tennis demarcation is superimposed in yellow. There are no center court circles. Each of the four large rectangular backboards are metal painted solid white with orange shooter squares. Durable double rim hoops with their nylon nets are in very good condition. Heavy duty black posts made of square steel stock support the goals. Parking is along Locustville Road by the playground approximately 75 yards south.
About those chickens: There was a small flock of free-range fowl feeding outside the western length of chain link fence. The proudly crowing rooster kept me honest while I was there.
