The information panel of this wall put:

eng: "In the Puebla de Navia Charter, granted by King Alfonso X the Wise between 1270 and 1284, jurisdiction was granted to the residents for the construction of a protective wall for the new pole. The walled perimeter barely exceeded five hundred meters and stretched from Calle de Las Armas to Calle de San Francisco. Its construction, started by a certain N. de Oviedo (according to Tirso de Avilés), was delayed or not completed until the 16th century. Currently, only a small canvas of masonry, about 15 meters long, is preserved in Mariano Luiña Street, formerly called Tras la Cerca. On its solid basement, the Casa de Coaña was built in 1692, with two semicircular arches, in chapaco, on top of the wall and another two on each side, which formed the arcade of the house."
