While Hawley still appears on lists of "populated places" in Oklahoma the former town is long gone. Hawley Cemetery (also known as Hawley Baptist Cemetery) is final rest to about seven hundred and fifty souls. The cemetery, on Harmon Road a mile east of Highway 132, is still active and is well maintained.
