Found this marker while searching for Lake Towsen Treasures (GC9EA0), a nearby geocache. Excited that I had stumbled on a benchmark, I wanted to record it as soon as I returned home, but found that it was not listed on geocaching.com. Here is your chance to claim this benchmark.

To find this benchmark you can park at the nearby Lake Towsen Regional Park. The park is located just West of the Withlacoochee River on SR-476. The parking lot is located near N 28 38.992 & W 082 16.645. From the parking lot head NE and find the Information Board just next to the Withlacoochee State Trail (Rails-to-Trails). Follow the paved trail (ESE) until you see a concrete marker #809 on your left. From this point the benchmark will be directly to your right and is clearly visible by the metal rod located next to it.
