Description: Besides Petrus Van Gils and the first rector Thomas Goossens, he was one of the most important founders of the Roman Catholic Handelshoogeschool in Tilburg, and three times rector magnificus of this college. Cobbenhagen's merit lies mainly in the introduction of the importance of ethics in economics.
