Dieser Baum ist etwas ganz besonderes. Die Eiche ist etwa 1.000 Jahre alt und bereits im Kino zu sehen gewesen. Im Film Luther war er in der ersten Szene zu sehen. Der Baum steht unter Naturschutz, er ist ein Denkmal. Seit 2013 ist ein Teil der Baumkrone wegen einer Pilzerkrankung abgestorben. Da der Stamm innen hohl ist wurde der Baum mehrfach beschnitten um zu verhindern, dass er unter der Last auseinanderbricht. Vor dem Baum ist eine Sandsteinbank, welche zum verweilen einlädt.
