The American Legion Post 17 is named for Lt. George Dwight Montgomery. The post has erected a veterans park beside the hall the recognizes the Lieutenant among others.

The American Legion George Montgomery Post 17 located at 315 Liberty Blvd. in DuBois, PA. As you would enter the parking area for the Post the veterans memorial is to the right.The center piece of the memorial is a vintage cannon, the memorial stone can be found to the right of the cannon.
