The plaque is a small 1 ft by 10 inches bronze monument attached to highly foliated gneiss, a metamorphic rock. it features a small relief of an eagle. Photos taken on 5 September 2021. The plaque says, "In memory of all those who served in the armed forces of the United States of America, we give our thanks for their efforts and to keep our country free."
