The southern terminus of the Catoctin Trail which travels 26.6 miles north into the Catoctin Mountain Park. The trail traverses through the rocky Catoctin Mountains while also going through 5 different park municipalities. There is only one scenic overlook on this trail, otherwise it is one big green and rocky trail. it can be done in one day or in pieces over multiple days.
