This Water Tank is a Benchmark as well.
Located in the North end of Picher,Oklahoma.
If I am not mistaken the real metal "PICHER" was made here in the 1800's.
If you look around the South end of town you can still see tailings from the Old mines.
I believe they are on the topo maps as well.
So much History to learn and try and keep up with.
