The ababndoned sandstone column of the Holy Trinity from 1786 is located at the road between villages Bartošovice v Orlických horách and Ceské Petrovice, just a few meters from Czech-Polish border. The column is divided into three parts, with the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary embossed in the lowest part of the pedestal. The pole is located on a base surrounded by a massive stepped balustrade with rococo flowers. The column continues through an ornate shaft of plant and cloud ornaments, accompanied by the heads of angels. The top of the sculpture consists of seated figures of God the Father and the Son of Christ. There used to be a metal dove at his feet - the Holy Ghost (missing). Perhaps far more pompous was the halo behind the sculpture, which was only some rays. There were other elements, presumably, along the sides of the column, where the medium-grain sandstone that makes up most of the material in the work is a metal bracket.

The Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity, one of the most important in mainstream Christian faith, teaches the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one divine Being called the Godhead.

The Trinity is most commonly seen in Christian art with the Spirit represented by a dove, as specified in the Gospel accounts of the Baptism of Christ; it is nearly always shown with wings outspread. The Father and the Son are usually differentiated by age, and later by dress, but this too is not always the case. The usual depiction of the Father as an older man with a white beard may derive from the biblical Ancient of Days, which is often cited in defense of this sometimes controversial representation. The Son may be represented by a symbol—typically the Lamb or a cross—or on a crucifix, so that the Father is the only human figure shown at full size.
