"L'autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, comunemente noto come autodromo di Imola, è un circuito automobilistico situato nel comune di Imola, nella città metropolitana di Bologna.
Inaugurato nel 1953, ai suoi albori era ufficialmente denominato Prototipo CONI, seppur noto principalmente come circuito del Santerno, titolazione questa che colloquialmente tuttora mantiene. Nel 1970 assunse il nome di autodromo Dino Ferrari in memoria dello scomparso figlio di Enzo Ferrari; alla successiva morte del Drake nel 1988, il suo nome venne affiancato a quello del figlio portando il circuito imolese all'odierna denominazione.
Deve la sua iniziale notorietà al motociclismo, in particolare con la 200 Miglia di Imola disputatasi tra il 1972 e il 1985. Per quanto riguarda il Motomondiale, ha ospitato sette edizioni del Gran Premio delle Nazioni tra il 1969 e il 1988, tutte le quattro edizioni del Gran Premio Città di Imola dal 1996 al 1999, e due edizioni del Gran Premio di San Marino nel 1981 e nel 1983. Dal 2001 ospita pressoché stabilmente la tappa italiana del campionato mondiale Superbike.
Per quanto concerne l'automobilismo, dopo gli esordi legati prettamente all'endurance, dal 1979 il circuito si è aperto alla Formula 1 in occasione del Gran Premio Dino Ferrari. Relativamente alla massima serie automobilistica ha ospitato il Gran Premio d'Italia nel 1980, tutte le ventisei edizioni del Gran Premio di San Marino dal 1981 al 2006, e due edizioni del Gran Premio dell'Emilia-Romagna tra il 2020 e il 2021. È inoltre sede di altre corse di caratura internazionale per vetture monoposto, turismo e GT.
È uno dei pochi tracciati in cui si corre in senso antiorario. Il record assoluto del circuito è di 1'13"609 stabilito da Valtteri Bottas su Mercedes nelle qualifiche del Gran Premio dell'Emilia-Romagna 2020.

"The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari, and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari, who died in 1956 at age 24. Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence.
Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. During this period, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place at Monza, so the Imola race was named after the nearby state. Imola also hosted the 1980 Italian Grand Prix in place of Monza. When Formula One visits Imola, it is seen as the home circuit of Scuderia Ferrari, and masses of supporters come out to support the local team.
The venue returned to the Formula One calendar during the 2020 and 2021 seasons to help the sport fill calendar gaps caused by cancellations of other races due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the race at the circuit being named the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in honour of the region where the circuit is located. "Das Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari ist eine Motorsport-Rennstrecke in Imola, Italien, auf der bis zum Jahr 2006 der Große Preis von San Marino im Rahmen der Formel 1 stattfand. Auf Grund der Tatsache, dass ein Land nicht zwei Formel-1-Grands-Prix austragen darf, wurde das Rennen in Imola an den Zwergstaat San Marino abgegeben. Da die Rennstrecke nur 80 km von Maranello, dem Stammsitz von Ferrari, entfernt liegt, wird das Rennen in Imola auch als Heimspiel für die Scuderia gehandelt.
