Dieses Fußwegschild befindet sich mitten im Wald an einem Wanderweg oberhalb von Rheinbreitbach. Es ist offensichtlich schon ziemlich alt, das Design des Schildes wurde schon vor einiger Zeit komplett umgestellt.

Das Schild wurde an einem Baum befestigt, im Laufe der Jahre ist der Stamm des Baumes über das Schild gewachsen und hat so begonnen, das Schild "aufzufressen". Die ursprüngliche Befestigung ist inzwischen nicht mehr vorhanden, und das Schild wird ausschließlich vom Baum selber "festgehalten".
This footpath sign is located in the middle of the forest on a hiking trail above Rheinbreitbach. It is obviously quite old, the design of the sign was completely changed some time ago.

The sign was attached to a tree, over the years the trunk of the tree has grown over the sign and has started to "eat up" the sign. The original attachment is no longer there, and by now the sign is only "held" by the tree itself.
