Zipline - Mosjøen, Norway - Zip-line on Waymarking.com

700 m (2300 ft) long Zipline over the river Vefsna. It starts at an altitude of 70 meters on Storfjellet and ends on the other side of the river at the old hotel Fru Haugans.
First you have to walk the 70 meters up the Helgeland stairs until you reach a sign that says Zipline. Do not enter here unless you have to try the Zipline. A narrow path leads to the start.
Security is top notch. Only visitors with helmets must walk on the path to the platform. Here they are fastened with body harness to a strong wire. The zipline has an automatic braking system and two people at a time can "fly" across the river.
Open 10 to 18 every day.
