This is one of two benches along the Bull Run that is dedicated to a local runner and all around great person who gave a lot of his time and energy to the running community of the Virginia Happy Trails Run Club. He has run the Bull Run Run 50 Miler and so it is appropriate that this bench and the other one are in places where he would have loved to sit and watch others enjoying the trail (running or not).
