Eglise Protestante de Chimay

En 1884, est fondé en Belgique le Comité Synodal d’Evangélisation, qui développe une intense activité d’évangélisation dans le pays. Cet effort génère des Eglises nouvelles parmi lesquelles on compte La Bouverie et Pâturages. C’est à la suite d’un effort d’évangélisation de ces deux Eglises dans la région de Chimay qu’en 1952, la paroisse de Chimay a vu le jour. Elle a été ensuite reconnue par Arrêté Royal le 10.10.1963 pour la circonscription de Chimay.

Eglise Protestante de Chimay

In 1884, the Synodal Committee for Evangelisation was founded in Belgium, which developed an intense evangelisation activity in the country. This effort generated new churches, including La Bouverie and Pâturages. It is following an evangelisation effort of these two churches in the region of Chimay that in 1952, the parish of Chimay came into being. It was then recognised by Royal Decree on 10.10.1963 for the district of Chimay.
