Charlotte Helen Bacon was one of the young victims of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. The bench dedicated to her can be found in a park in Newtown called The Pleasance. The park has a small area in the back specifically designed for children that includes statues of characters from The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, and a shed made to look like an oversized dollhouse where children can explore the Rabbits' house. This bench and another directly across the path from it are found near the Rabbits' house.

The inscription the bench says:
