The clock is in the shape of a black cube with 4 identical clock faces on top of a large pole.

Each clock face is white with the hours marked in Roman Numerals in an inner ring with the minutes marked out in a narrow outer ring.

Below each clock face is the legend 2000 AD in gold paint. Below the clock faces are 2 silhouettes of soldiers probably placed there to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.

At the base of the clock is a small plaque.
