In celebration of the 350th anniversary of the Town of Suffield, a barn quilt trail was established throughout the town. Some painted barn quilts are bases on traditional patterns and others are more modern in their design.
Laurie Tavino created this design which features four tobacco leaves with pointing to the corners of a square with their stems joined to a common point in the center. Ten pink triangles, representing tobacco flowers, radiate out from this central point.
Your Visit:
The published directions list 216 Babbs Road, but to find this barn quilt you must go south 800 feet to a pair of tobacco barns on the east side of the road. The northernmost tobacco barn contains the "Tobacco Flower" barn quilt located on the bottom of the tobacco barn near the ground.
