Na Starym Rynku w Płocku znajduje się zegar słoneczny z 1793 roku. Na rynku można go podziwiać od 1877 roku, choć również zmieniał lokalizację. Jest on w kolorze białym, ma kwadratową tarczę. Wskazówka (gnomon) jest kształcie półksiężyca. Oznaczenia godzinowe zapisane liczbami rzymskimi są w zakresie IIII - XII - VIII. Uważni zauważą, że liczba "IV" jest zapisana w nietypowej postaci "IIII".

On the Old Market Square in Płock, there is a sundial from 1793. It can be admired on the market since 1877, although it also changed its location. It is white, with a square dial. The pointer (gnomon) is crescent-shaped. The hour markers written in Roman numerals are in the range IIII - XII - VIII. The careful will notice that the number "IV" is written in an unusual form "IIII".
