The sign at the site says:

Jeppe Hein Your Way, 2017
Highly polished stainless steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
87 x 169 x 12 inches
From an edition of 3

Your day began the same way it always does-the sound of your alarm, a cup of coffee, a shower and the world around you looked the same as yesterday-blue skies, a light breeze, your car waiting its turn in the stream of traffic. Then you came to the Arlington Public Library and encountered Your Way. Upon entering Jeppe Hein's mirror maze, your day changed and suddenly the normal world around you was fragmented and surreal. As you passed through the labyrinth, the quotidian became a spectacle as the grass below your feet and the sky above your head folded together and were reflected back to you in a play of light and shadow. In the hands of artist Jeppe Hein, familiar landscapes are rendered strange and full of wonder.

Jeppe Hein (b. 1974, Copenhagen, Denmark) uses perception, reflection, and interaction to engender a sense of awe in everyone who engages with his work. Through the use of kinetic elements and reflective surfaces, Hein brings the viewer into the artwork. In fact, for Hein the sculpture is not complete until the viewer activates it with movement, presence, and energy. Jeppe Hein has created site-specific installations around the world, bringing his characteristic sense of joy, creativity, and discovery to audiences of all ages.

Your Way was donated to the Friends & Foundation of the Arlington Public Library by the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation to inspire youth in the Arlington, Texas community.
