The Jackson County, Tennessee Veterans Memorial is located on the southeast corner of the courthouse square in Gainesboro, TN. It was placed in 1974 by the citizens of Jackson County. It is a 10 foot high rectangular granite monument with the general dedication information and a eagle on the side facing the street. The other side contains the wars represented and the names of local individuals who gave their lives in the said conflicts.
