1859 Fondation de la mission catholique Saint-Athanase et ouverture des registres de la paroisse.
1866 Nomination du premier curé résidant de la paroisse Saint-Athanase.
1867 (19 décembre) Inauguration de l'église Saint-Athanase.
1886 Érection canonique de la paroisse Saint-Athanase ; son territoire couvre une partie du canton d'Inverness.
1960 On décide de la remplacer par une nouvelle construction.
1961 Partiellement détruite par le feu 2 semaines avant sa démolition prévue.
1962 La nouvelle église est terminée et mise en fonction.

History of the Catholic Church of St-Anasthase
1859 Foundation of the Saint-Athanase Catholic mission and opening of the parish registers.
1866 Appointment of the first resident parish priest of Saint-Athanase parish.
1867 (December 19) Inauguration of the Saint-Athanase church.
1886 Canonical erection of the parish of Saint-Athanase; its territory covers part of the township of Inverness.
1960 It is decided to replace it with a new construction.
1961 Partially destroyed by fire 2 weeks before its scheduled demolition.
1962 The new church is completed and put into operation.
