At just 1,214 square miles, the state of Rhode Island is the country's smallest state. Yet, packed within its tiny frame are 1,080,632 residents, 400 miles of spectacular coastline, 100 public and private beaches, charming seaside villages, and 2,300 acres of pristine woodlands.
The visitor information facility is on I-95 North, 6.5 miles from the Connecticut border between Exits 2 and 3 in Richmond, Rhode Island.
