This monument is located in the 45th Infantry Division Memorial Park (part of the Coalgate City Park) just south of town.

This park is located about one-half mile south of town on Highway 3/75 (Broadway). It consists of a bronze plaque mounted on a concrete slab with a slanted top. The display is located on a small concrete slab surrounded by four metal posts and chain. What looks to be a base where a flagpole once stood has VFW written in the concrete. The memorial was dedicated on May 4, 1991.
