At Point State Park, at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a round monument embedded in the sidewalk. This monument shows a map of the area, including the sites of the former French and British forts, and includes the words, "Point of Confluence, Point of Conflict, Point of Renewal." There is also a benchmark disk that is part of this monument that has the geographic coordinates and elevation of the point stamped on it. The text on the disk says: "Forks of the Ohio River, Point State Park, Great Allegheny Passage Terminus, Elevation 712.62 Feet, 40° 26' 30.77"N 80° 0' 47.68"W."
