A beautiful homemade wooden grave marker is at the final resting places of Huey Paul Williams and his wife, Vanona Nell (Fowler) Williams, in historic Gholson Cemetery, Gholson, TX.

This wooden grave marker is made up of two logs joined together at the top by a board, all sitting on an impressive base. It has a dark finish that should preserve it for awhile, and while each of the couple has a side to themselves, the family name, "Williams", spans both logs, separating names from dates. A woodburner was used for the inscriptions, which include "Father" and "Mother" across the top. They read:
