"The bank first started out as a private enterprise in the back of Gotthelf and Mayer Mercantile. In 1913, the bank board of directors solicited bids for a $7,500 remodeling of the building. Denver architect John J. Huddart was selected to design the new façade, and contractor M.J. Kenney, also of Denver, completed the construction."
The bank was closed in the 1930's and from the it was a liquor store, cold storage locker plant, cafe, residence, art gallery, and a gift shop. Currently it is the Aventa Credit Union.
