From a plaque on site:

The old bridge into the village of Manotick is now gone, look across the channel to see the other stone abutment where the cenotaph stands today.

The abutment located in proximity to the A.Y. Jackson Park can be seen from behind the Manotick Cenotaph, on Dickenson Street. The other abutment close to Dickenson Street can be seen from a gazebo in A. Y. Jackson's Park located on Arthur Crescent, at the following coordinates: N 45 13.665, W 75 40.965.
