In 1967, due to the extension of the nearby cemetery, this Roman bath was uncovered. In 1971 it was made a public park. It was probably built around 110-120 A.D. under the emperor Trajan.

There is an information panel which identifies the parts of the bath (in German).

More information on the bath can be obtained at the Dominikaner museum in Rottweil which has an exhibit on it.
