Cross at a former school - Belá u Jevícka, Czech Republic - Christian Crosses on Waymarking.com

The sandstone cross standing at the entrance into into the building of municipal office and public library (a former school) in village Belá u Jevícka comes probaly from the end of the 19th century. In the upper part of the cross there is a gilded statue of the crucified Jesus and the INRI plaque attached above him. In a small niche of its pedestal a statuete of the Virgin Mary holding the Baby Jesus can be found. The cross was recently renovated and both statues were gilded.
