Mr. Cabler is one of thirty-three victims of the 1909 tornado that ripped through Zephyr. Also lost in the storm were his father, his wife, and two children, and they are buried here together. His modern, gray granite headstone has calla lilies complementing the Woodmen of the World emblem, and the family name, "Cabler", is on the bottom. The inscription reads:
