EN: This transformer tower is located at the street Ausserdorf in the west of Oberflachs. The station belongs to AeW and is still in operation. However, there are no more overhead lines.
The tower probably dates from around 1925. The tower, which was designed with great attention to detail, has some special features such as the round-arched door, the wood-clad gable and the unplastered stone blocks in the corners of the foundation.
DE: Dieser Transformatorenturm steht an der Strasse Ausserdorf im Westen von Oberflachs. Die Station gehört der AeW und ist noch in Betrieb. Allerdings gibt es keine Freileitungen mehr.
Der Turm stammt vermutlich aus der Zeit um 1925. Der mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Turm hat einige spezielle Austattungsmerkmale wie die rundbogige Tür, der holzverkleidete Giebel und die die unverputzten Steinquader in den Ecken des Fundaments.
