Taken from the Smithsonian website, "Installation consisting of two long curving benches which stretch out from either side of a small table. The tops of the three pieces are smooth. The sides of the pieces appear as rough-hewn rock or a stone ledge. The ceramic sculpture is installed directly on the ground."
